Available internships fall of 2026
The Human Library is looking for interns to join our secretariat in Copenhagen
starting this upcoming August of 2026. Our mission is to publish people as
open books, fostering safer spaces for open dialogue. As an intern, it is
essential that you are curious to learn not only about your field of study but
also be open-minded, while becoming a part of our community of volunteers
from all around the world.
Internship at the Human Library
The Human Library hosts events virtually and in libraries, museums, festivals,
conferences, schools, universities, and for the private sector. We have been
publishing our open books since 2000 in over 85 countries. As an intern at our
organization, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our talented staff and
participate actively in all aspects of our exciting projects.

● Internship for our International Volunteer Community
We are always interested in receiving applications from skilled and engaged
individuals regardless of their ethnic background, gender, sexual orientation,
disabilities, religion, or age. We also strongly encourage candidates with special
needs to apply. Please ensure that the internship meets the requirements set by your
educational institution.

The submitted materials can be in either English or Danish. Interviews are expected
to be held on an ongoing basis and shortly after the application deadline.

however, we are curious to know more about you, and how you could contribute to
the team while further developing your skillset and gaining valuable experience. If
