Victims of sexual abuse find themself in a very difficult situation. Not only are they victims of a very personal and hurtful crime, but they are left to suffer double from the stigma that follows. It is important to try and better understand the victims. But expect that these conversations can be challenging.

Our books speak about experiencing a lack of empathy from authorities and silence from friends, co-workers and even close family. and male victims are met with disbelief.
Many victims feel isolated from the rest of the world and even more victims do not report the assault.
