The students of Williams College in Massachusetts are invited to visit the first Human Library on campus. The two day event is open on February 10th and 11th, 2012. The event aims at breaking down stereotypes and misunderstandings within the community while exposing students to the off.campus population and engaging the local residents in a conversation with the students.

The local organizers have prepared a very interesting list of books they want to lend out. Among other the readers can meet:

An Asst. General Counsel for the MA Sex Offender Registry Board, Buddhist (Friday only), the Child of Holocaust Survivors, an Evangelical Christian, a Fat Woman, a Female Aerospace Engineer, the Feminist/Womanist, a Hacker, a Hurricane Survivor, the Iraq War Veteran, Libertarianism, the LDS Missionaries (Mormons), a Male Nurse, a Model Minority, the Motorcycle Enthusiast, the Olympic Athlete (Saturday only), a Palestinian (Saturday only), the Professor (Saturday only), a Psychiatrist, the Queer (Friday only), a Student, the Raised in an Orphanage book, a Recovering Alcoholic, The Gipsy Tale,
and the Transgender.
 

As always the services of the Human Library are free to its readers.
