Human Library at the University of Virgin Islands, United States
The introduction of the Human Library to the US Virgin Islands will happen at the University Club House on April10th, 2010. This first HL event in the Virgin Islands has only been made possible with the hard work of the local library association and the kind support of the University of Virgin Islands. The event is expected to present a variety of Living Books to the students on campus and other interested readers. The introduction marks a funny little historical milestone as the HL idea stems from Denmark and the Islands where originally sold to the United States by Denmark.
