The Human Library UK
As one of only few countries, the United Kingdom has an organization working only to stage Human Libraries, promote the use of the methodology and help new organisers get sorted out. The Human Library UK is run by a strong group of dedicated volunteers, that want to ensure maximum implementation of this idea on a national level. More local organisers have already emerged, and now there are activities spreading out to different regions. The first two London based events where a positive indication of things to come. Human Librarians from the UK can sign-up to the Human Library Organisers Forum through this LINK. The group has been setup so organizers can exchange experiences with other organisers and more closely follow developments on national level.
A Human Library event service.
We realise that far from all potential hosts have the time or capacity to build an event from scratch. So now we are able to offer to stage events in co-operation with and on behalf of partners, that want to present a Human Library at their venue. The costs, which are flexible depending on ambition and setting, must be covered by the host. Contact us for more information on how it can be done at your venue.
