Human Library at Sziget Festival 2009.

Along with the summer comes the festival season, a highlight in the year for Human Libraries. One of the longest re-occuring Human Libraries takes place at the Sziget Festival in the heart of Budapest, Hungary.

The event is set in the Civil Island which is a complimentary area to festival visitors. Sziget festival is renowned for its great ambience, loud music and festive crowds. The festival has an extensive music program and much to offer its guests.

The acitivity is organised by the Council of Europes Youth Centre in Budapest and has more than a thousand readers each year. The services of the Juman Library are free to the public (fee to be paid to enter festival) and runs for 7 days.
