Human Library at Spectrum Community School, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
Students at the Spectrum
Community School will have a broad selection of different human books at
the schools second annual Human Library. The event is part of the
Spectrum Community School´s Social Justice Program and aims to give
students an opportunity to meet and connect variety people representing
the diversity in the community.
Titles expected to be available
at the event includes the Outreach Worker, the disabled, the immigrant,
the poverty advocate and a politician. The organizers from the school
library expect over 200 readers will participate.
The event is funded by the schools library budget and its not open to the general public.
