Human Library - Take out a prejudice

The Human Library will be open to readers at the Sherwood Public Library in Hamilton, Ontario on May 15h, 2010. This is the first event for the Hamilton Public Library system and it is expected to host up to ten different Living Books. The aim for the new local Human Library organizers is to foster understanding in the community. On the day readers will be able to take out a Muslim, a Buddhist nun, an Enivronmentalist, a person suffering from brain injury, a Native-Canadian and a Musician. More titles are expected to be confirmed in the weeks to come.
