Scotland next to introduce the Human Library.

The distribution of Living Libraries is picking up in pace. Since the summer, Serbia, Spain and the United States have introduced the Human Library and now Scotland will follow in November and Japan will launch in December. This brings the total number of countries up to 29 now.

Edinburgh Festival of Libraries.

At the Edinburgh Festival of Libraries, Scottish readers will for the first time get the chance to take out a prejudice or confront a general stereotype in the community. The Human Library will be followed by further events around the city and local organisers have high expectations towards the response from patrons in the community.
