Human Library at Schoolcraft College, Michigan, USALink to local organizers website in English

Schoolcraft College outside Detroit, will become the second local Human Library organizers in the state of Michigan, when on March 15-16th they present their first two-day event to students and staff on campus. The school wants to offer its students an opportunity to discover and confront their preconceptions and biases.

The local organizers are assembling a group of books that includes a variety of religions as well as free thinkers. They are also planning to have a right to life advocate, a firefighter and an emergency room nurse and they hope to broaden the scope into areas like sexual preference.
