Human Library at Schoolcraft College, Michigan, USA

Schoolcraft College outside Detroit, will become the third local Human Library organizers in the state of Michigan, when on March 15th they present their first of a two-day event to students and staff on campus. The school wants to offer its students an opportunity to discover and confront their preconceptions and biases.

The local organizers are assembling a group of books that includes a variety of religions as well as free thinkers. They are also planning to have a right to life advocate, a firefighter and an emergency room nurse and they hope to broaden the scope into areas like sexual preference.

The event is free to students and staff on campus.
