The Human Library continues its travels in the beautiful city of Santa Monica. This year an outdoor event is planned for the Santa Monica Festival. The event is being prepared by the local organizers at Santa Monica Public Library. An environmentalist, an ex-gang member, a fat activist and a nudist are just a few of the people who will be available for a 30 minute personal conversation.

According to organizers of the festival the event is directed at families looking for an inexpensive, environmentally sustainable and culturally enriching way to spend Mother’s Day weekend can pedal over to the 19th annual Santa Monica Festival. The festival follows a zero-waste principles in order to reduce its impact on the environment and the community while offering a day filled with eclectic music, dance, visual arts, food, and information and shopping.
