Human Library at Red Deer Public Library, Alberta, Canada
Red Deer Public Library will host the first Human Library event in Red Deer during Alberta Arts Days. The event will take place during Arts on the Ponds on Sunday, September 19, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. They local organizers have lined up twelve books in their list of living literature, among the other readers can sit down with the Farmer, the B-Boy, Healing with Therapy Dogs, the Living Organ Donor, a Soldier, aTattoo Artist, an Opera Singer, a Mixed Martial Artist, a Fire fighter, a Media Artist, a Homeless Artist and a MAGsparks Artist. Each book will have a book cover created in mixed media by a talented Alberta artist Justina Smith.
