Noorderzon Performing Arts Festival, Groningen, Netherlands

This year the guests of the Noorderzon Performing Arts Festival in Groningen will have a selection of 50 living books to choose from at the Human Library event taking place everyday from August 20-29th, 2010. Daily the list of literature will change and new books will arrive at what is looking to be, one this years largest events.

From the 20th of August on, the library is opened from 14:00 pm till 20:00 pm. The books work in two shifts: from 14:00 pm till 17:00 pm and from 17:00 pm till 20:00 pm. Most of our books have multiple 3-hour shifts, so there is more than 200 time slots in which books can be borrowed.

Visitors can even reserve the books in the online catalogue. The number we use for reservations will be operational throughout the festival, so visitors have the choice between browsing the catalogue online and making a reservation or choosing from the selection of books available in the library.
