Human Library - Take out a prejudice

Libros Con Vida opening soon in Mexico

On November 14th, a Human Library will open its doors to readers for the first time in Mexico. The historical event has been carefully prepared in partnership with our local partner, the cultural ngo Siijuve and will take place in Puebla on a square in the middle of the city.

The partners in Mexico have opted for the "original reciepe" and are aiming to build a better understanding for marginalized groups in the community. Only through dialogue can we better understand our differences and so the Mexican readers will have a platform for this dialogue from 12-5 pm on November 14th.

The experiences from the first event will pave the way for more local organizers and it is the expectation of the organizers that the Human Library will find its place in the Mexican society. Soon Greece will also open bringing the total list of countries offering Living Libraries way past 40 closing in on 50.
