Human Library at Merrill-Cazier Library, Utah State University, Logan, Utah, USA
A three day Human Library event will open on January 24th, 2012 at the Merril-Cazier Library on campus at Utah State University in Logan, Utah. This will be the first Human Library at the University and the local organizers are very excited to see the outcomes and learn of the response from the student readers. The event has been prepared to start a dialogue that will promote a better understanding of different experiences and ways of thinking.
Among the many interesting Living Books on loan at Utah State University readers can find: the Abuse survivor, a pagan, a scifi/fantasy gaming nerd, a marketing anthropologist, the cancer survivor, a radio DJ, a gay man, the extreme weather chaser, the eating disorder recovery person, and a two-person book made up of two friends from Lebanon (one is a Muslim and one a Christian).
The event is funded by the Merrill-Cazier Library and the Human Library Organization is proud to partner with Utah State University.
As always the services of the Human Library is free to its readers. This event is also open to the public.
