Living Libraries Australia: Website launch confirmed.
In Australia there is a national strategy to support the development of Human Library projects around the country. The Living Libraries Australia initiative is making great progres and have now confirmed the launch of their official website. From September 4th, 2008 the website will provide a range of resources for download to assist the local communities in establishing their own Human Library. The adress of the Australian website is: www.livinglibraries.org.au
The first national strategy.
Australia is the first and so far only country, to create a national strategy for the implementation and introduction of the Human Library, to local communities. Similar to the Living Libraries America project, the Australians aim to motivate as many new organizers as possible and create a national network to ensure a further implementation of the methodology and the coordinated exchange of experiences between organizers. For more information contact Shauna McIntyre, National Human Library Strategy Project Manager (02) 6625 0435.
