Human Library - Take out a prejudice

The first of its kind in Australia and now one among many. Since 2006 patrons of Lismore´s City Council have been able to take out living books at regularly organized Human Library events.  The service is available every first friday of the month between 11am - 2 pm. Lismore´s Human Library is coordinated by Mrs. Lucy Kinsley and has gained national acclaim for its efforts to strenghten social cohesion in the community. The service is part of the Human Libraries Australia, a national strategy to develop the Human Library in the country.
