Japanese TV documentary about the Human Library.
The first Living Libraries in Japan are stirring in the pot, but before the concept is introduced to the Japanese public, a major national tv station will air a half hour documentary about the Human Library. The program aims to give its viewers (potential readers and future Japanese organisers) a behind the scenes impression of the dimensions to a Human Library.
Visit to Scandinavia.
The producers seem determined to create a quality program and the production plan includes visits to Denmark and Finland, where the film crew will follow the preparations of a major Human Library event hosted by the Finnish Youth Council, Alliansi. The documentary is also expected to include interviews with books, readers and with Human Library creator, Ronni Abergel.
The documentary is scheduled to air late in November and is expected to help further the interest for the upcoming Human Library events in Japan.
