Japan launch a Human Library website

On Wednesday the 6th of December, the first Human Library in Japan, will take place in Kyoto. It will be followed by an event in Tokyo on January 14th, but for those who cannot wait and want their information in Japanese, there is a Human Library Japan website open now. The site has been created by the organizers of the Human Library in Kyoto to help readers prepare for their visit. It is not a translated version of this website.

TV documentary to air same day.

To futher support the introduction of the idea in Japan, a 30 minute tv documentary about the Human Library, has been produced by the national Japanese television NHK. The program is scheduled to air on the same day as the first event and hopefully the massive exposure can help secure the interest of further Japanese organizers. The Human Library in Kyoto is not only a first for Japan but for Asia.
