Human Library - Take out a prejudice

International Forum on Human Library development in the ASEAN

In partnership with Rajamangala University of Technology Isan (RMUTI) we are calling for all local organizers in the ASEAN countries to come together for the first International Forum for Human Library organizers in Asia. The event is to be held at RMUTI in Khorat (Nakhon Ratchasima), Thailand from January 28th-30th.

Registration is now open and the preliminary draft programme has been announced. So do not hesitate to visit the Conference webpage to read more about the event and to register your participation.

Who can participate?

In principle anyone can participate. However preference will be given to already active local Human Library organizers as well as new organizers who want to learn more about how to work with the methodology and concept in the ASEAN.

After gaining a first foothold in Japan in 2008 the Human Library has slowly built a base in Asia. Today Korea, Thailand, China, Hong Kong, India and Malaysia have regular Human Library events. But we still have a long way to go before the full potential of the Human Library is put to work in civil society in many Asean countries. This forum will help build towards that mission.
