The Homosexual

Lets start with some generalisations about gays, like we all know, they are all HIV-infected, typically feminine and very interested in arts. Not shy of approaching straight men with their offensive sexuality, generally sexually careless and all of them are crazy about Wham and Pet Shop Boys but simply love Culture Club and Boy George. Everybody wants to be Karl Lagerfeld at some time in their gay life, and most of them do not. Always crying out through their interest groups and associations, like the whole world is against them. Just because they are the "butt" of many jokes in the work place.

Talk about a global bestseller title in the Human Library. In all the Living Libraries around the world, the most often featured book is the homosexual. And all though there is nothing new about homosexuality, and many may feel it is now common and so accepted, even to be made fun off/with in a relaxed way. Along with the saying that many women prefer gay men as their friends (is this true?- who said?), yet many gays still experience persecution from their fellow man, and some members of this group are exposed not only to bad jokes, but to violent hate-crimes. The crime is also known as gay-bashing, where youngsters that must have misunderstood something, assault homosexuals in public.The gay book will often offer an insight into this world.
