The Human Library is an international initiative that aims to create dialogue, greater understanding and tolerance between people by providing the opportunity for the community to share and understand the experiences of others. Individuals volunteer as ‘human books’ and participants in the event can ‘read’ the book - meaning they would have a conversation with the volunteer, ask them questions and share in a dialogue that takes them on a journey of the individual’s experience and thereby challenge their own…

The Danish Human Library is touring the schools and educational institutions with a mobile setup. On November 10th, 2015 our books and librarians will visit Peder Lykke Skolen in Central Copenhagen. This will be the second visit to the public school.
