Students and faculty are invited to visit the first Human Library on campus at Crandall University in New Brunswick, Canada on April 3rd, 2013. The event is targeted pre-service teacher students as part of a course on diversity and multiculturalism in Education. In partnership with the National Institute for Social Integration in Lithuania the Human Library Organization will host a week long seminar in Vilnius. The purpose of the event "Human Libraries and the movement for social change" is to bring together a broad scope of experiences from around Europe and examine how the Human Library actively can contribute further to reducing stigma and prejudice. The program will include workshops on ensuring quality content, marketing, fundraising and more.

Our trainers, experienced books and librarians will meet with our upcoming new releases to help them prepare for their publication on the Human Library´s bookshelf. All books in the Human Library are volunteers that represent groups in the community often exposed to stereotypes, prejudices or discrimination. International workshop for new organizers, UCC, Copenhagen, Denmark

The teacher education at UCC has an international program on Didactics of Dialogue and Reconciliation with participation of Danish and international students. This spring the program has 38 students from Denmark, Turkey, Lebanon and different European countries. Studying different concepts of dialogue and conflict-resolution in theory and practice. The Human Library Org will facilitate the day for the students and hopefully send home 38 potential new local organizers. This event is closed to the public.
