Human Library@CBC Ottawa & Ottawa Public Library, Orléans

For the third consecutive year the Ottawa Public Library will present the Human Library. This time at five different branches all open to readers at the same time. The huge event takes place on January 25th and includes titles such as Mother of 8, Drag Queen, Former Gang Member, Drug User, Anarchist, War Veteran, Rabbi, Urban Aboriginal, Sex Worker, Developer (Condo builder), Hunter, a Muslim imam, a deaf-blind woman, a jail guard and a schizophrenic man. Great choices for every reader.

Events can be found at Greenboro, Orléans, Main, Carling and Carp branches of the Ottawa Public Library / Bibliothèque publique d’Ottawa.

The event has been prepared in a partnership between the OPL and CBC Radio Ottawa.

Reader pre-registration starts at 10:45 am.

As always the services of the Human Library are free to readers.
