A Human Library event will be featured as part of the annual Diversity and Inclusion Week (25-29 August) at Monash University.
The week serves as an annual showcase that aims to engage the Monash community in the social inclusion programs at the university and demonstrate the ways that the University is working to create an environment in which equity practices are embedded within everyday campus life. Alongside the Human Library, there will be other events that engage with and celebrate our students with disabilities, LGBTIQ support and gender equity programs and anti-racism campaigns amongst others.
The aim of the week is to get staff and students involved in a range of workshops, public lectures, forums and other events that serve to promote the principles of social justice at the university.
As always the services of the Human Library are free to readers.
