Human Library - Take out a prejudice

Human Library at City Hall, Copenhagen, DenmarkLink to the City of Copenhagens website

Every year hundreds of students arrive in Denmarks capitol of Copenhagen to study. They are welcomed to the city at a special reception in the Ballroom of City Hall. A tremendously impressive room that has hosted kings, queens and world leaders. Now the time has come to host a Human Library as part of the welcome party. To aim of the event is to show the visitors the diversity of the Danish people and so a special Human Library has been prepared. The Living Books will not only represent stereotypes and stigmatized groups in the community, but also show the many different types of danes that live here.

The event is funded by the City of Copenhagen and organized in a partnership with the Human Library Organization. This event is not open to the public.
