AOE Arts Council will present a Human Library as part of the Nuit Blanche Ottawa + Gatineau 2013. For the first time in Canada, the Human Library will be presented in a Coffeeshop. And it is also a very first Human Library to be open over night.

Readers are invited to select between a variety of exciting titles including the Aboriginal, aNew Canadian, Stripper, Burlesque Dancer, the Painter, a Beat Box Artist, a Drag Queen, a Singer and more to stimulate a good read.

Nuit Blanche Ottawa+Gatineau is a one night per year, dusk-until-dawn celebration of Contemporary Art and local culture that takes place across multiple venues and within the cityscape of Ottawa and Gatineau. Nuit Blanche showcases the creativity and cohesion of the local community and the success of its industries.

AOE Arts Council, has a 25 year history in working with the community, and has successfully organized hundreds of events including annual fundraising galas, community art projects, networking socials, workshops, and public consultations. 

The Human Library Organization is proud to partner with AOE Arts Council and as always the services of the Human Library are free to readers.
