Human Library - Take out a prejudice

Human Library at Atlanta-Fulton Public Library, Atlanta, Georgia.Link to Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System website

Already the third Human Library being offered to the patrons of Fulton PL, since Georgia´s first Human Library Organizer introduced last year.  The experiences from the first two events in May and September were very positive and so this Public Library keep em coming. This time readers can take out a local politician, a Muslim, a Jewish person, an ex-gang member, an East African immigrant, and a stripper. A brave and challenging selection for a new organizer, something we at the Human Library Organization appreciate.

Patrons are allowed to place a hold on books with their library card. The Atlanta-Fulton Public Library was the first and so far, is still the only official Human Library local organizer in the state of Georgia.
